Quick Setup Guide

Step 1: Unfold the Backseat Extender

Unfold the BarkBridge+ so that the mesh window is facing the front windshield. Ensure all 3 platforms are securely aligned across your back seat. Each platform should lie flat to create a stable surface.

Step 2: Secure the Seat Anchors

Insert the attached seat anchors deep into the crevice of the rear seat cushions to secure the BarkBridge+ in place. Feel for a snug fit to confirm the anchors are properly secured especially for larger dogs or during bumpy rides.

Step 3: Adjust the Headrest Straps

Fasten the headrest straps to the front and back headrests, starting from the front. Tighten each strap until the extender is firm and does not shift when nudged, but not overly stretched or levitating the platforms off the base of the seats.

Step 4: Attach the Door Covers

Zip up the door covers on both sides. Securely fasten the lanyard by looping it through your vehicle’s rear grab handles and attaching each end to its respective loop on the covers. Ensure no loose straps remain to keep your pet safe. Do not overly stretch and ensure platforms are not levitating off the base of the seats.

Step 5: Buckle Up Your Pup

If leashing your pup, open the Velcro flaps to uncover the rear seat belt buckles. Guide the provided seat belt leashes through the slots, attaching to your pet’s harness, and buckle them in, ensuring that the leash clicks securely into your seat belt buckle.

Care Instructions

1. Machine Washing

The BarkBridge+ is fully machine washable, but due to its bulk, ensure your washer can handle your Backseat Extender's size and weight. Remove the support boards and lanyards for the door covers before washing. Use a gentle cycle with cold water, then air dry to maintain the durability of the waterproof fabric.
